Bayanul Qur’an (bayanalquran.com) is the controller of your personal data under Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection. Questions and requests about your data, including the full identity of the operator, can be sent to privasi@bayanalquran.com.
Data we collect
- Your name and email address, and your Google account ID if you sign in with Google.
- Your last reading position in each book.
- Books, chapters and images that writers upload.
- IP address and browser type in sign-in sessions and server logs.
How we use it
We use the data to run your account, send sign-in codes, save your reading position, show writers’ names on what they publish, and keep the service secure. We don’t sell data, show ads, or use cookies other than the ones that keep you signed in.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while the account is active and deleted with it. Server logs and database backups are kept for at most 14 days. The writers’ activity log in the studio is kept for at most one year.
Your rights
You can change your name and delete your account at any time on the Account page. To ask for a copy of your data, withdraw consent, or object, contact privasi@bayanalquran.com.
Other
Users under 18 need a parent’s or guardian’s permission to create an account. If a data breach happens, we will tell you within 3 × 24 hours. Changes to this policy are marked by the date it was last updated.
